WILLIAM JOHN PARASHIN Peacefully, after a lengthy battle with cancer, Billy Parashin, aged 52 years, passed away at St. Boniface Hospital, with his beloved wife Brenda by his side, on Wednesday, November 6, 2002. Besides his loving wife, he is survived by his son Shane (Melany) his grandson Brendan. He will also be sadly missed by his mother-in-law Delice Millitaire; brothers and sisters-in-law; and good friends, Danny, Orest, and Ronny. Billy worked for Great West Metal for four years and he enjoyed the friendship of his co-workers. Brenda would like to thank the staff at St. Boniface Palliative Care for the care he received while he was there. A special thanks to his Home Care nurses, Melanie, Val and Sharon for all their care and support, and to Dr. Hahlweg. According to Billys wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on Tuesday, November 12 at 10:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Ash interment will be held at a later date in Elmwood Cemetery.
