Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryIRMGARD HEDWIG CAPLETTE Peacefully, on Saturday, November 9, 2002 Irmgard Caplette passed away at the Vista Park Lodge in St. Vital. She is survived by her daughter Hildegard (Stelio) and grandsons, Rob (Cynthia) and Korrie; her son Roy (Barb) and granddaughters, Shawna (Brad) (great-grandson Brendan) and Sharlene (great-grandson Markell) her daughter Shirley (Ron) and her son Bob (Lise) and grandchildren, Jason (Katie) (great-grandson Carson) and Deena. She was predeceased by her longtime companion Angelo Bauce in 2001. Irmgard had been a longtime employee of the St. Vital School Division. At home, Moms door was always open. No matter who rang the doorbell, they were always welcome. Mom could tell stories and her best story-telling was to her grandchildren, relating tales of the Second World War as she was growing up in Holland, Europe. Mom loved her fishing and her time spent at Sandy Hook. During the winter months, her time was spent baking and doing various crafts. Your long, hard journey is over, Mom. Youre free now. Rest in peace with Oma and Opa. Your children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren will always love you. Know that well miss the hours spent playing Yahtzee and poker with you and your great sense of humour. Nobody could tell a story like you, you kept everyone on the edge of their seats until they exploded with laughter. Jason and Deena will also remember you for the stories that you told them as young children and had them totally enthralled. Mom, well miss the cooking and the baking and the good times you brought into our lives, but most of all, well miss you. We love you and you will always be in our hearts. Be assured that your youngest great-grandson, Carson, will know you very well as we share our memories of you with him. Love Bob, Lise, Jason (Katie), Carson and Deena. The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff at the Vista Park Lodge in St. Vital for the years of caring for Mom. Funeral services will be held at the Holy Family Church, 778 Archibald St. in St. Boniface on Thursday, November 14 at 10:30 a.m. The service will terminate at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Irmgards memory to the Manitoba Heart and Stroke Foundation, 301-352 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3B 2H8. What we would give if we could say, Well go and see our mom today, To see her face and loving smile, To sit and talk with her awhile. We miss you Mom, We always will, And when our lives are through, We pray that God will take our hands, And lead us straight to you. LECLAIRE BROTHERS in care of arrangements. 775-2220.
