EVELINE HART (BOHEMIER)
Date of Passing: Nov 08, 2002
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryEVELINE HART (nee BOHEMIER) 1905 - 2002 Peacefully, on Friday, November 8, 2002, at the Foyer Valade, Eveline passed away at the age of 97 years, leaving the memory of her gentle smile and quietly manifesting Jesus love. Eveline leaves to mourn her passing her three sisters, Marie-Therese Gillis and Fabiola (Fay) sisters-in-law, Claire Marcoux, Aurelie Duguay, Rita OConnor, Claire and Eileen Hart; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Theodore Hart who cherished her dearly; her parents, Jean-Marie and Florida Leclair; her brothers, Victorin, Celestin, Florent, Ulysse (James), Ephrem and Eloi; her sisters, Marie-Jeanne Savoie and Sr. Aline s.g.m. (Grey Nun) brothers-in-law, Antonin Savoie and Wilfrid Gillis; and sisters-in-law, Louisa Baron, Aurore Saindon and Gilberte Gagnon. Eveline was born in St. Norbert, MB on September 24, 1905. She was a member of the Secular Franciscan Order for over 40 years. She had worked at the Eatons department store for over 21 years. She was a woman of many talents, an exceptional housewife. She loved music and her favourite hobbies included dressmaking and painting. Eveline was a woman of faith who knew the joy of a relationship with God. Her trust in the Lord sustained her until the end. Silent though she was, her actions spoke louder. Being of an unselfish and generous nature, she devoted part of her youth helping her mother raise her family and laboured faithfully. She often said that little acts of love are often appreciated far more than we realize. Her gifts of kindness brought joy to childrens hearts and those close to her. She always knew that this world is not our true home, but rather, temporary while we wait for Jesus to come and call our name. In the abode of Gods elect, she shall see what the eyes of man cannot imagine, hear harmonies which her ears cannot dream of now and enjoy a happiness which her heart has never conceived. Sincere thanks are extended to Drs. Mohammed, Frank Albi and Monica Fernando and the staff at the St. Boniface Hospital (6E) and at Foyer Valade for the excellent care Eveline received. Thank you also to Ramiro Herrera and Mary-Clare ONeill for the many services rendered. Funeral mass will be celebrated by Rev. Fr. Sam Argenziano at the Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church, 510 River Ave. on Friday, November 15 at 11:00 a.m. Interment of Evelines cremated remains will take place in the Assumption Cemetery, 3990 Portage Ave. following the mass. Those wishing to do so may make a donation in Evelines memory to the Franciscan Friary, 211 Edmonton St., Winnipeg, MB R3C 1R4 or to the Foyer Valade, 450 River Rd., Winnipeg, MB R2M 5M4 or to a charity of ones choice.
