GEORGETTE CLAIRE SAIVE (nee CORMIER) After a long and fulfilling life, Georgette has gone to her eternal rest, peacefully on Saturday, November 9, 2002 at the Repos Jolys in ,Saint-Pierre-Jolys MB at the age of 97 years. Left to cherish her memory are her son Maurice and daughter-in-law Diane; grandchildren, Martin, Francine (Stefane) Lavergne, Rejean (Alana Anderson) and Andre; great-grandchildren, Ashley Davidson, Kirsten and McKenzie Anderson; her sister Marie-Ange Alary; her sister-in-law Jeanne Cormier; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews. Georgette was predeceased by her beloved husband Jean, her sister Rachel Flannagan, her brother Moise Cormier, her sister-in-law Annette (Rochon) Cormier, and brothers-in-law, James Flannagan and Leon Alary. Georgette was a kind, gentle, and generous soul, always looking for the best in people. She was a sincere and devout person. She was an active member of the St. Viateur Parish, having been the organist for many years. She also participated in many community organizations. Funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, November 13 in the St. Viateur Roman Catholic Church in Ottoburne, MB with Fr. Benjamin Kazadi-Shabani presiding. Prayers will take place at 10:00 a.m. until time of service. The family wishes to express their gratitude to the staff of the Repos Jolys for their dedication and compassionate care to our mother and grandmother. In lieu of flowers, donations in Georgettes memory may be made to the De Salaberry District Medical Centre Foundation in St. Pierre-Jolys, MB.
