HELEN KOLODY It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Helen Kolody (nee Twardoski) on Sunday, November 10, 2002 with her family by her side. She will be lovingly remembered by her five daughters, JoAnn (John) Halpape of Calgary, Linda (David) Thomas of Winnipeg, Annette (Jack) Murray of Barbados, Janete Kolody of Winnipeg and Pam (Rob) Hower of Winnipeg; and her granddaughters, Jennifer and Lisa Thomas and Kayla and Lindsey Hower. Her husband John, in 1990, predeceased Helen. She is survived by her brother Adam (Marion) Twardosky of Surrey, BC, and sister-in-law Vicky Ward of Winnipeg. Sincere thanks go to the compassionate nursing staff and doctors at the Grace Hospital. Service of remembrance will be held on Friday, November 15, 2:00 p.m., at Leatherdale Gardiner Funeral Chapel, 1501 Waverley St. LEATHERDALE GARDINER 1501 Waverley Street 949-4860

I have been researching my family and I believe that John, Helen's husband, was my Aunty Martha "Mary's" son. She lived in Melville, Sask. I remember she spoke often of John and Helen's 5 daughters.
