BERTHA MASTALER Peacefully on Monday, November 11, 2002 at the East Gate Lodge in Beausejour, MB., Bertha Mastaler, aged 99 years, beloved wife of the late John Mastaler. She is survived by her sons, Ted (Janice) of Red Deer, AB, Gerry (Sally) of Winnipeg; as well as her grandsons, Guy (Nicole) and their daughter Madison, Lance (Lucy) and their daughter Savanna. Also surviving is a sister Rose Greene of Prescott, ON, and a sister-in-law Pauline Ostrowski. Bertha was predeceased by her husband John; her brothers, Walter Nisztuk, Mike Nisztuk, Frank Ostrwoski, Joe Ostrowski; and by her sister Katie Burek and a stepsister Emily Dudek. Funeral Liturgy will be held on Friday, November 15 at 11:00 a.m. from the Holy Ghost Ukrainian Catholic Church, 823 Park Ave., Beausejour, MB, with Fr. Ivan Demkiv officiating. A private family interment will follow in the Green Acres Cemetery. If friends so desire memorial donations in her memory may be made to the East Gate Lodge, Beausejour, MB or to a charity of ones choice. The family would like to thank the staff of the East Gate Lodge for the care and compassion shown to our mother and grandmother, it will not be forgotten.
