HELEN ALEXANDRA MEYERS (BYER) December 12, 1912- November 10, 2002 Helen passed away peacefully in her 90th year, at the Fort Garry Care Centre. She will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her daughters, Margaret (Wayne) Calver and Pat (Gordon) Cole; her six grandchildren, Deanna (Rick) Barten, Geoff Cole, Scott (Jasmine) Calver, Andrea Calver, Laura (Mitch) Calver, Denise (Ryan) Proulx; and three great-grandchildren, Rychele and Taylor Cole and Riley Proulx. Helen is also survived by her brother Wallace Byer. She was predeceased by her parents, Margaret and Peter Byer. Helen was born in Winnipeg and graduated from Kelvin High School. She was a valued, longtime employee of Robinson Little and retired in 1977. She was an auxiliary member of the ANAF. A private family interment will be held on Thursday, November 14, at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens. The family would like to thank the staff of Fort Garry Care Centre, who provided a loving, caring home for Helen for almost five years. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society, 120 Donald St., Winnipeg MB R3C 4G2 or to the Fort Garry Care Centre, 1776 Pembina Hwy., Winnipeg, MB R3T 2G2. Rest in Peace, Mom.
