She and Ad met and fell in love while they served at CFB Shilo and were the first couple to be married in Paroisse Ste-Marie in St. Vital on November 4, 1944. She dedicated herself to family, raising us with discipline, humour and kindness. Her love was returned tenfold from children and grandchildren who adored her. Special thanks to Manitoba Home Care Program for giving comfort and support for the last few years. Thanks too, to the doctors and staff of the 5th floor at St. Boniface Hospital for their compassion.
