Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryVIOLET IRENE SMITH Peacefully on Monday, November 11, 2002 at the Betel Home, Selkirk, Violet Smith, aged 86 years, formerly of Gunton, MB. Violet was born on April 24, 1916 at Greenwood Road, MB and spent most of her life there. Surviving to mourn her loss two sons, Grant, Ray (Nicole) grandchildren, Ryan (Carol), Tara (Scott) great-grandchildren, Devin, Taylor; Carmen who was like a granddaughter to Mom; sisters-in-law, Joyce Williams, Doris (Howard) Smaldon. Violet was predeceased by her husband Alfred in 1985, brother Earl, sister Hazel and twin sister Verlie. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 14 at 10:30 a.m. at Teulon United Church, Rev. Ken Anstie will officiate with interment to follow in Victoria Cemetery, Balmoral. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, memorial donations may be made to the Teulon Hunter Memorial Hospital Foundation.
