TAYLOR JOSEPH CHRISTENSEN Suddenly, on November 12, 2002 at the young age of six, Taylor Joseph Christensen of St. Adolphe, MB was taken from us doing what he loved, playing hockey. Taylor will be sadly missed by his father Tim and his mother Lori and his little sister Samantha. Taylor is also survived by his grandparents, Helmer "Sonny" and Carol Christensen, Richard "Dick" and Dorene Petersen; great-grandparents, Myrtle "Nana" and grandpa Gord Anderson; aunts and uncles, Jamie (Michelle) Christensen, Danny (Lori) Christensen, Mathew (Nicole) Christensen, Tori (Reid) Goodman, Debbie (Joel) Cyr, Grant (Krystal) Petersen, Leanne (Rorie) Magnusson; special auntie Penny; many cousins, Mason, Michael, Brennen, Danielle, Jacqueline, Sydney, Lane, Chantal, Rylan, Katlyn, Jason and Joseph. Taylor was predeceased by his great-grandparents, Haldor "Dodo" and Victoria Einarson, Howard Doak, Oluf "Oli" and Louise Christensen, Archie and Steina Petersen and Cleveland Grant. Taylor was born on February 25, 1996 in Winnipeg, MB at the Victoria Hospital. He spent most of his short life in St. Norbert where he made many friends and touched many people. He attended the St. Norbert Childrens Centre Daycare and French Immersion School, where he had made a numerous amount of friends. He had a love of sports which included baseball, soccer and road hockey. Taylor had just moved to St. Adolphe in September where he began to play the game of his dreams, "Hockey". Even though he was only in St. Adolphe for a very short time, he had many friends from his hockey team and was looking so forward to playing his first game with his teammates on Saturday, November 16, 2002. Taylor spent many hours in the basement playing with his little sister who he adored and protected. His other enjoyments were going out to Lundar to visit his Grammas and Grampas. His first words entering Lundar every time were, "I see the Goose". There will be a memorial service at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, November 18 at the Lundar Lutheran Church with Pastor Terry Throndson officiating. Interment to follow in the Lundar Municipal Cemetery. Taylors schoolmates and hockey teammates can all consider themselves honorary pallbearers for Taylor that day. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Childrens Hospital Foundation of Manitoba Inc., CE501 - 840 Sherbrook, Winnipeg, MB R3A 1S1. The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to Taylors coach and nurse who travelled with him to the hospital and the entire staff at the Victoria General Hospital.
