GERRIT DAVID MOERMAN It is with great sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of Gerrit (Garry) on Monday, November 11, 2002, at his residence, at the age of 49 years. He is survived by his two daughters, Melissa and Kaitlin; his sisters, Corrie (Pete), Rita (John), Joan (Cornelis), Jenny (Arie), Laurina (Dario), Dina (Dick) and his only brother David (Irene) and many nephews, nieces, and great-nephews and nieces. Gerrit was born on August 25, 1953 in Portage la Prairie, MB. He grew up and received his education in Winnipeg, MB, and upon his graduation became employed by Westfair Foods, and remained a loyal and dedicated employee until his passing. Gerrits strong faith and trust in God carried him through the many adversities he had to face throughout his short life. Gerrit was an active member of his church. He greatly enjoyed fishing and hiking and spent many holidays pursuing these pleasures. The funeral will be held in his home city of Calgary, AB. Flowers are gratefully declined, however, if friends so desire, donations can be made to a charity of choice.
