Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLORRAINE SULKERS Muriel Elsie Lorraine Sulkers (nee Trick) passed away at the Chilliwack General Hospital on November 5, 2002 at the age of 81, following a brief illness. She is survived by a loving family, sister Barbara from Toronto; four children, Neil (Jann) from Regina, Paul (Heather) from Australia, Catherine (Don) from Vancouver, and Jane (Jeff) from Chilliwack; 10 grandchildren; and husband Herman. She was predeceased by her parents, Russell and Lillian; her brother Norman; and her first grandson Scott, all of Winnipeg. A graduate nurse from Winnipeg General in 1944, Lorraine used her experience to raise her children, comfort and care for neighbours and friends, and support her many grandchildren. In addition, Lorraine also helped three children in Africa through World Vision. She continued this life of caring right up to the time of her recent illness, working with Meals on Wheels, Community Services for Seniors, and driving hundreds of elderly and ill patients on behalf of the Canadian Cancer Society. A memorial service was held in her honour at the Haney Presbyterian Church, Maple Ridge, BC, on November 12. Should family or friends so desire, donations in her memory may be made to World Vision. We all love and miss you Mom. Love Neil, Paul, Catherine and Jane.
