EILEEN MARGARET RICHARD Eileen Margaret Richard on November 11, 2002 in Orillia, ON. Born in Winnipeg in 1916. Predeceased by her beloved husband of 56 years Herb in 1995. Survived by her daughter Terri and son-in-law Jon of Oro Medonte and her son Brent and daughter-in-law Janet of Victoria, BC. Attended Earl Grey and Kelvin school in Winnipeg, worked as a secretary at the firm of Osler, Hammond and Nanton for a number of years, and assisted her husband in administrative work for the Winnipeg Badminton Club. She enjoyed sporting activities all her life, especially tennis and badminton at such clubs as the Winnipeg Badminton Club, The Winnipeg Canoe Club, The Winnipeg Tennis Club, The Wildewood Club, and the Doran Park Tennis Club in Midhurst, ON. She also spent many happy times skating at the River Heights Community Club and swimming at the Pan-Am Pool. Eileen never met a cat she didnt like and who didnt immediately fall in love with her. She derived great pleasure from simple things like autumn leaves, snow flakes, and sunsets, and never lost her sense of wonder.
