MARIA DE JESUS COSTA 1910 - 2002 Maria de Jesus Costa (nee Botelho) of Calgary, AB passed away at the Bethany Harvest Hills Care Centre on Wednesday, November 13, 2002 at the age of 92 years. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Eduardo Cordeiro Costa on January 3, 1982. Maria was born June 25, 1910 in S. Miguel, Acores. Maria and Eduardo were married in S. Miguel on June 10, 1935. She immigrated to Winnipeg, with Eduardo in March of 1973. She had lived in Calgary since July 1998. Maria is the loving mother of a son and daughter-in-law Eduardo and Julieta Da Costa of Calgary; two daughters and sons-in-law, Maria Manuela and Frank Correia of Providence, RI, Maria Margarida and Jose Cabral of Winnipeg; nine grandchildren, and nine great-grand-children. She is also survived by two brothers and a sister-in-law, Jose and Rita Botelho of S. Miguel, and Adelino Botelho of Mississauga, ON. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 19 at Holy Rosary Church, 510 River Ave., with viewing prior to the service. Interment at Assumption Cemetery. The only family members who have accepted the honour of pallbearer are Eduardo Da Costa, Joe Costa, Miguel Costa and Nick Bevilacqua.
