Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJOHN GIGOLYK It is with the greatest sorrow that the family announces the sudden passing of John Gigolyk, aged 66 years, of East Selkirk, beloved husband of Pearl, on November 14, 2002. John was born at Zhoda, MB on August 23, 1936, son of the late Nick and Dora Gigolyk. John worked at Mandak in Selkirk for 16 years, retiring two years ago. He enjoyed working there very much and all the guys he worked with. He also enjoyed carpentry work and drywalling and was always working on something. John was predeceased by his parents, a son Dennis, a brother Bill, a sister Olga and a sister-in-law Annie. He leaves surviving his loving wife of 40 years, Pearl; son Ron; daughter Darlene Chezick (Lloyd) his love of his life, granddaughter Tessa; sisters, Mary Krasniuk (Steve) and Victoria Crawford; and many nieces, nephews and friends. Prayers will be said on Sunday, November 17 at 7:00 p.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel, Selkirk. Funeral service will be held on Monday, November 18 at 10:00 a.m. also in the chapel with Pastor Dave Saude officiating. Interment to follow in the St. Peters Cemetery. His pallbearers will be Steve Krasniuk, John Panasuik, Einar Cesar, Ron Klim, Pete Trochin and Tom Partridge. In memory you will always be near, Still loved, still missed, still very dear.
