GLADYS CECIL GODSMARK November 3, 1912 - November 6, 2002 Peacefully on Wednesday, November 6, 2002 at the Luther Home, Gladys Godsmark passed away at the age of 90 years. Gladys was predeceased by her loving husband Harry; father and mother; brother Herbert; son-in-law David Curran. She is survived by her daughter Carol; granddaughter Caitlin; sisters, Betty and Joyce; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Gladys was born and raised in Manitoba. She was initially employed as a hairdresser but moved on to work at Hudsons Bay for many years before finishing her career at Woolworths. Gladys met her husband Harry at school. They were married in 1938 and shared their lives together until his passing in 1999. One of Gladys biggest joys was spending time with her family especially taking one of their many boating trips on the Red River. The family would like to thank Luther Home for all the love, care and attention given to Gladys during her time there. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba, 10-120 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3C 4G2 or a charity of your choice.
