RUDOLPH HERBERT LaFRENAIS 1946 - 2002 It is with deep sadness in our hearts that we announce the passing of our father Rudy LaFrenais on Thursday, November 14, 2002 at the Health Sciences Centre. Rudy will be lovingly missed by his wife Joan; daughters, Karen and Lindsey; his sisters, Dorothy Rohr (Vlady), Valerie Fleming (Tony), Hermie McDonald, Judy Tremblay (David), Maria Parkes (Larry) and brother Andre (Gemma). Rudy was predeceased by his parents, Joselyn and Ethel; his brother Terence; and brother-in-law Gerry McDonald. Rudy has worked at Motor Coach Industries for 27 years. He loved his job, and had a high regard for his coworkers. Rudy was a caring and loving person who devoted his entire life to his wife and children. He was a loving and helpful brother and friend. God saw him getting tired, And a cure was not to be. So He put His arms around him and whispered, Come with Me. With tearful eyes we watched him suffer And saw him fade away. Although we loved him dearly, We could not make him stay. A golden heart stopped beating, Hard working hands to rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us, He only takes the best. It broke our hearts to lose you Dad, But you did not go alone. For part of us went with you, The day God called you home. The family wishes to express their appreciation for the compassionate care given by the staff of GA-5 at Health Sciences Centre. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 19 at 12:30 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. Arrangements entrusted to: CHAPEL LAWN FUNERAL HOME CEMETERY AND CREMATORIUM 885-9715
