VIRGINIA MARLENE (TINY) MUSWAGON (nee GENAILLE) It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Virginia (Tiny) Muswagon on Friday, November 15, 2002 at her residence at the age of 38 years. She is survived by her husband Gerald, her sons, Derek, Levi (Amanda), and baby Gerald; her daughters, Melissa (Tyler) and Sherri-Lynn; and her grandchildren, Brandon, Dwayne, and Precious. She also leaves to mourn her passing her mother Sarah Sutherland, stepdad Harry Sutherland, father George Genaille, special aunt and uncle, Clara and Leonard, special friend Rose; sisters, Mairlyn, Cote (Danny), Patricia, Janet, Anita, Shirley, Jennifer, Melanie, and Carol; stepsisters, Marlene, Rita, Mary Jane, and Melanie; and brothers, Timothy, Wilfred, Kevin and Billy. On her fathers side numerous stepbrothers and sisters. She also leaves to mourn her father-in-law Louis Muswagon, mother-in-law Matilda Muswagon, sisters-in-law, Rena (Fred), Brenda (Ron), and Ursula Muswagon. Tiny leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins; as well as uncles, Charles and Alexander; and aunties, Mary, Edna, and Bertha. Tiny was predeceased by her grandparents, Charlotte and St. Peter Genaille, sister Valerie Powderhorn, Auntie Mary Church and Uncle Victor. Tiny had many struggles in life due to her health but did the best that she could and still had a high spirit and enjoyed life to the fullest. Tiny cherished a lot of things but most of all "her man" and children meant the most to her. Tiny was outgoing, fun loving and independent. When she had her mind set on something she went out and did it herself. But most of all she was caring and giving and always loyal to family and friends. Tiny lived a short life but had an impact on those who knew her. She was well respected for her strong will and desire to be fair to others. She will be remembered for her laughter. Her favourite things were working outdoors, going to Bingo, away from the kitchen. Tiny, we will miss you very much. We all love Tiny very much and her memory will live on in our hearts. She will be greatly missed by many. Wake services were held on Saturday, November 16 from 7:00 to 8:00 a.m. as well as on Sunday, November 17 from 7:00 to 8:00 a.m. Funeral service will be held at the Aboriginal Funeral Chapel on Monday, November 18 at 1:00 p.m. Interment Brookside Cemetery, 3001 Notre Dame Ave., Winnipeg.
