Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryHENRY (HARRY) WILLIAM NORMAN Peacefully, with his wife Beryl by his side, Harry Norman passed away on Thursday, November 7, 2002 at the Grace General Hospital, at the age of 88 years. Harry was born in Rosewood, MB on May 7, 1914. Raised on the farm, his ethic of hard work was forged early in life. He later worked in Winnipeg at the Crescent Creamery where he was one of the last to deliver milk by horse-drawn wagon. Following that, he made many very special friends during the 33 years he worked for the City of Winnipeg until his retirement. He was a storyteller and loved to make people laugh, especially if he could play a joke on a friend or neighbour. Harry was also an avid cribbage player and took great pleasure in relieving friends and family of a quarter or two in a friendly game played on his hand-made crib board. When the games were over, he would entertain for hours as he pounded out tunes on his piano. Later in life, Harry found great joy in oil painting and his artistic legacy contains many breathtaking, scenic pictures. Throughout it all, he always took great pride in his bountiful gardens, home renovations, helping others with their projects and his ability to create almost anything in his workshop. Harry will be lovingly remembered by his wife Beryl, with whom he shared over 30 wonderful years; their children, Ray, Dennis, Robert (Louise) and Valerie; grandchildren, Connie (Alan), Shauna (Jay), Christine (Jim), Kimberly and Eric; great-grandchildren, Vincent, Valerie-Lynn, Daniel, Kyle and Sarah; his sister Enid; sister-in-law Leah, as well as many nephews, nieces and their families. He was predeceased by his parents, Lyle and Reata and by his brothers, Walter, Leslie and Ernie. A celebration of Harrys life will be held for family and friends on Friday, November 22 from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. in the Deer Lodge Community Club, 323 Bruce Ave. East. In accordance with Harrys wishes, cremation has taken place. A private family interment will be held at a later date. Our family would like to thank Dr. P. Donnelly, Dr. R. Macek and the many nurses and staff at the Grace General Hospital for their care and support, as well as Dr. R. Guzman and staff at the St. Boniface Hospital. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Grace General Hospital Foundation Hospice, 300 Booth Dr., Winnipeg, MB R3J 3M7. WOJCIKS ALL BELIEFS & FAITHS FUNERAL CHAPEL & CREMATORIUM 897 - 4665
