ALEX PATENAUDE Peacefully, on Thursday, November 14, 2002 at Tache Nursing Centre, Alex Patenaude passed away at the age of 75 years. He was predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Rosealba Patenaude; granddaughter April; son-in-law Dick Erickson of Vancouver, BC; stepbrother Edward; stepsister Josephine; two sisters, Antoinette and Leonna. Alex is lovingly remembered by Cecile of Winnipeg; five daughters, Lucille Erickson of Vancouver, BC, Pat (George) of Aubigny, MB, Doris (Tony) of Kelowna, BC, Dianne (Willy) of Kelowna, Carol (Glen) of Winnipeg; three grandsons, Rene Patenaude of Edmonton, AB, Dennis Patenaude of Vancouver, David of Vancouver; two great-grandchildren, Brianne and Jayden; and three brothers, Phil of Prince George, BC, George of St. Malo, MB, Eugene of Winnipeg. Viewing will be held between 9:30 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 19, at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. (south of the Royal Canadian Mint) with the service commencing at 10:00 a.m. A gathering of family and friends will follow in the reception centre. A private family interment will take place at a later date at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens. Special thanks to the Tache Nursing Centre and Desalaberry District Health Centre in St. Pierre, MB for all their care and kindness given to Alex and his family.
