LLOYD POTTINGER It is with saddened hearts that we announce the passing of Lloyd on Thursday, November 14, 2002 after a courageous battle with cancer. Lloyd was predeceased by his wife Moreen, his sister Louise and his father Thomas. Lloyd will be sadly missed by his long time companion Mariann; mother Daisy (Charlie) daughters, Tracy (Rick), Jody (AJ) his grandsons, Ricky (Michelle), Nathan; granddaughter Remy; his brothers, Harvey (Diane), Norm (Dawn), and Gord (Lynn) as well as many other family members and friends. Lloyd spent the last five years living in Belair, MB at the cabin that he loved. He also spent that time running the store in Lester Beach. His many dear friends will fondly remember him. He also worked at Pratts United and spent many years volunteering at Valley Garden Community Club. Lloyd enjoyed life to the fullest and was involved in many activities. He was part of many teams including his bowling team and his poker club called the Boys Poker Club. Lloyd was a 25-year member of the Royal Canadian Legion No. 9, Wildlife member for many years and enjoyed the annual Jamboree. A very special thank you to Dr. Mare and all the staff at Pine Falls Hospital. And thank you Dr. Wong at CancerCare Manitoba. Funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 20 at Westwood Community Church, 401 Westwood Dr. Lloyds (Guru) pallbearers will be his poker club buddies.
