SAMUEL THOMAS RHYNARD September 05, 1911 - November 15, 2002 As peacefully and quietly as he lived, Dad passed away at his home in Ferndale on November 15, 2002, at the age of 91 years. Predeceased by his wife Jean, in 1995 and an infant daughter Debra in 1960, he is survived by his four loving daughters and their husbands, Shirley and Herman Troster of Ferndale, Elaine and Dave Fisher of Petawawa, ON, Jude and Vick Dusik of Calgary and Sandi and Roydon Rodgers of Domain; and his grandchildren, Darcy (Murray), Paul (Debbie) Julie, Jeff (Marcy), Leanne, Chris, Trevor, Evan, Derek and Greg; and great-grandson Griffin. Also surviving, two sisters, Mary Hampson of Winnipeg and Gladys Mellow of Sanford. Born in Ferndale on September 05, 1911, Dad spent his entire life in the Ferndale and Starbuck areas, farming and enjoying his community of friends and neighbours. His faith, his friends and his black lab, Fly were of utmost importance throughout his life. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, November 20 at 11:00 a.m. in Thomson Funeral Chapels, 669 Broadway, with Rev. Ron Mattock officiating. Interment will follow the service in the Starbuck Cemetery, Starbuck, MB. In lieu of flowers friends may donations to a charity of their choice. The family wishes to thank the home care workers who assisted us in taking care of Dad in his own home until his passing.
