He was born on October 17, 1941 and was the oldest son of the late Hilda and Arthur Bailey. He is survived by his loving wife Frances; sons, Duane (Maryanne), Edward (Judith), Andrew (Kelly) and Graham (Ireene) brothers, Ron, Wayne and Reginald; grandchildren, Alicia, Zachary, Adam, Jamie, Tyler, Mitchell, Denver, MacKenzie and Jayden; stepchildren, Norman "Buck", and Norman and Glenda Schultz; and the mother of his children Sharon Bailey. Tom lived in Bracebridge, Huntsville, Red Deer, Calgary and Winnipeg. Prior to his illness he as a professional truck driver employed by Millennium Transport and various other trucking firms in Manitoba. Tom loved his family. He loved life and liked to joke around and have a lot of fun. He was a great friend to those who knew him and was a man of strong opinion. He enjoyed music, reading, and football, especially the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. He took meticulous care of his vehicles and had a strong work ethic. He liked dogs and most animals. Thomas scoffed at convention and made his own rules. He backed away from all types of conformism. Happy-go-lucky restless and amusing, he surrounded himself with an appreciative audience. Thomas was able to assume responsibilities and his humour lightened the heaviest of loads. As far as romance goes, Thomas was a whirlwind who swept woman off their feet. We love you and will miss you. Friends were received at Reynolds Funeral Home "Turner Chapel", on Thursday, November 14 in Bracebridge, ON. The service was held in the chapel on Friday, November 15, at 1:00 p.m. Interment took place at Stephenson Cemetery in Port Sydney, ON.
