EDITH BLANCHE McBRIDE (nee CHALMERS) March 3, 1908 - November 15, 2002 Peacefully with family by her side, Edith, aged 94 years, passed away at Grace Hospital. Edith was predeceased by her mother Jessie, father David, brothers, Bob, Wilfred, Donald, Frank, Eddie, Harold, and Albert; husband Francis; daughter Marie; and son David. She will be lovingly remembered by her sons, Frank, Robert (Irene), Donald (Gloria), and Raymond (Teresa) and her daughters, Patricia Laine, Judy (Garnet) Burden, Helen (Ken) Talbot-Clapson, Nancy (Jim) Monkman, and Peggy Derrickson. Numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She is survived by her brother Jack. According to Ediths wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at Leatherdale Gardiner Funeral Chapel, 1858 Portage Ave. on Wednesday, November 20 at 1:00 p.m. The family wishes to thank the staff at Grace Hospital for their care, support and compassion during her time of need.
