JESSIE (JOSEPHA) STOROZUK Jessie (Josepha) Storozuk, went home to Jesus on November 17, 2002, at the Maples Personal Care Home at the age of 93 years, 7 months. She was born on April 5, 1909. Jessie and her predeceased husband Peter farmed at Shortdale until their retirement in 1966. They moved to Winnipeg shortly after. Surviving her are her children, Walter (Helen), Stan (friend Olga), Russ (Vera), Mary (Eric) Lahofer, Ethel (Jim) Krichkowski, Ollie (Edwin) Wiebe, and Elaine (Dave) Dromereski; 16 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; brother Philip; and sister Sophie. She will join her family members, husband Peter, infant daughter Sophie, parents, Mykita and Elizabeth Ewasuik; one grandchild; one great-grandchild; brothers, Alex, Mike and Bill; sisters, Ann and Mary. The family would like to thank the staff of Maples Personal Care Home for their care and compassion for Mother over the past 20 years. A Celebration of her life (funeral service) will be held on Wednesday, November 20 at 10:00 a.m., with viewing between 9:30 to 10:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Interment will follow in Garry Memorial Park.
