WINIFRED SAUNDERS Peacefully, on Nov-ember 18, 2002 at the St. Boniface Hospital Winnie Saunders, aged 87, passed away after a brief illness. She was predeceased by her parents; brother Tom Troughton; and sisters, Hilda Thompson and Marion Boyd. Winnie will be sadly missed by her husband of 35 years, John; the light of her life her grandchildren, Kevin and Lisa (fiance Chris) their mother Barbara and their father Kenneth (Lynda). Also left behind are her nieces, Joyce of Los Angeles, Gayle, Lori and her children Justin and Chantel; and nephews, Jim (Goldie) and their daughter Larissa and Tom (Jan). Winnie was employed at the Deer Lodge Hospital and Manitoba Co-op before her marriage to John in 1967. Her family will always cherish her memory and her many needle point pictures, knitting and crocheting work. Grannys fondest memories were the times spent with her grandchildren and family. The family would like to thank Hazel and Henry for all their love and support. Funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m., on Friday, November 22 at the Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave., with visitation one-half hour prior to the service time.
