IRENE GYLES (WALTERS) 1935 - 2002 It is with great sadness that after a lengthy illness with cancer we announce the passing of Irene Gyles on November 18, 2002, at the Grace Hospital. Irene was predeceased by her mother Annie; father David; sister Gertrude; brothers-in-law, Rob, Wilfred and Charlie. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband Patrick; daughter Cheryl (Dean) son Shawn; grandchildren, Melanie and Christopher; sisters, Vera (Dan), Florence, Lillie, Doris (Nelson) and brother Norman. Irene will also be missed by her many nieces and nephews. Ask anyone who knows Irene to describe her and the words that come to mind would be "Fun Loving". As a friend, her friendship is forever cherished. As a mother she is patient, loving and understanding, as a grandmother she is fun and silly, as a wife she is a partner, companion - a best friend. We all love you and miss you very much! According to Irenes wishes, cremation will take place and a memorial service will be held on Friday, November 22 at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Palliative Care Unit at the Grace Hospital, 300 Booth Drive, Winnipeg MB R3J 3M7.
