HILDA B. SCHNELL Peacefully on Thursday, November 7, 2002 Mrs. Hilda Schnell, beloved mother of Peter, passed away. Hilda was predeceased by her husband Peter in 1959, her mother and father Emma A. and Artemus Casford; two sisters, Ruby, Mabel and Pat; and her only brother Gordon. Besides her loving son Peter and wife Monique, Hilda is survived by two grand-daughters, Mandie J. and Jennifer D. Schnell of Stonewall, MB; sisters-in-law, Signe, Mamie, Joan and Patricia Schnell, Florence and Hilda and Edward Schwartz, Lydia Propp; and brother-in-law Herbert Liebrecht. Hilda was predeceased by brothers-in-law, Henry, Jack, David, Frederick, John and Adam Schnell and William Schwartz. Hilda was born in Brackley Point, PEI in 1918. Prior to her retirement Hilda worked for the Health Sciences Centre (Childrens Hospital) for 25 years. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 13 at the Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, with interment at the Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens. Flowers gratefully declined; donations may be made to the Arthritis Society, 105-386 Broadway, Winnipeg, MB R3C 2B7, as a token of remembrance.
