MARGARET LEAMING Peacefully, on Wednesday, November 20, 2002 at the Rivereast Personal Care Home, Winnipeg, Margaret Leaming, aged 84 years, formerly of Woodlands, MB. Surviving to mourn her loss, sister Doris Pickering of Calgary, numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her loving husband Raymond; sister Lyla Begley; brothers, Alvin and Jim Whyte. Margaret worked many years at the C.N. Railway as a cook. It was here she met her husband Raymond. She loved spending time on her farm. Her yard was large and looked like a park. Attending to her garden was one of Margarets favourite hobbies. She received much joy from travelling especially on the train. Friends may call from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, November 22 at the MacKenzie Funeral Chapel, Stonewall. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 23 at 2:30 p.m. in the Woodlands Community Hall, Woodlands, MB. Rev. Bev Ward will officiate. Interment will follow in Bonnie Doon Cemetery.
