FREDA MUDROSKY (BEAN) (WEBER) On November 19, 2002 at Seven Oaks Hospital, Freda Mudrosky passed away peacefully at the age of 87 years. She is survived by her son Gary Bean, his wife Violet and their son Darrin all of Port Coquitlam, BC; and daughter Sandy (Terry) Newton of Portland, OR; also by her beloved daughter Joan and her husband Ron of Winnipeg and their children, Lori (Glen), Jodi (Tim), Marnie (Rick) all of Winnipeg; and Gary (Renee) of Gainesville, FL. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren, Kirsty, Sarah, Jaedyn and Ryan all of Winnipeg and Amanda and Telaney of Portland; as well as many nieces and nephews. Mom was predeceased by her first husband Lionel Bean in 1963, their infant son in 1948 and by her second husband Nick Mudrosky in 1998. Also all of her siblings (four brothers and two sisters). Freda was born in Winnipeg on June 27, 1915 to Chris and Marie Weber and was a member of St. Johns Lutheran Church, where she sang in the choir during her teens and where she was confirmed in 1929. Her working years were spent at the T. Eaton Co. where she worked in various departments for many years. The family would like to thank all of the people who cared for Mom during the brief period prior to her passing, especially Dr. Kevin Saunders and all of the doctors, nurses and staff at Seven Oaks Hospital Emergency Ward and those on the 5th floor, Unit 6 and the 4th floor, Unit 4 for their caring and compassionate attention. A celebration of Moms life will be held on Monday, November 25 at 11:00 a.m. at Klassen Funeral Chapel, 1897 Henderson Hwy., with Pastor Bruce Gelhorn officiating. Interment to follow at Brookside Cemetery. Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Gary and Darrin, and grandsons-in-law, Tim, Rick and Glen. We love you Mom, Gramma and Great-Gramma and you will always be in our thoughts.
