Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryNELLIE PESCITELLI Like a sleeping angel, she peacefully passed away on Wednesday, November 20, 2002 at the age of 70. Nellie was born in Winnipeg to Michael and Mary Mykietowich and grew up in North Kildonan. She married William in 1950 and moved to the Pescitelli family farm where they raised their two sons. Everyone called it "the farm". It was a special meeting place enjoyed by family and friends for many years. Nellie will be sadly missed by husband William of 52 years; sons, Alvin (Valerie) and Arnold (Karen) grandchildren, Jamie (Ben), Christopher (Christine), Kelly Ann, Erik and Owen; also brothers, Stanley (Nancy), Albert (Beverly) and sadly missed by numerous nieces and nephews. Nellie was predeceased by her parents and brother Joseph, also by her special aunt Bernice and uncle Albert Mykietowich. Nellies family was an important aspect of her life. She always gave to others first without expecting anything in return. She always opened her heart and home to family, friends and strangers alike. No one ever left hungry or without having a friendly visit. Cooking, baking and gardening were her many passions. Her flower arrangements received recognition at local fairs - she had won several awards and it was a highlight in her life. Her memory will always live in our hearts. Prayers will be said at 7:30 p.m., Monday, November 25 at St. Marys Roman Catholic Church, 530 Atlantic Ave., Beausejour. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Tuesday, November 26 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Marys Roman Catholic Church, with Rev. Fr. Owen Steeves presiding. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery. Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Christopher Pescitelli, Erik Pescitelli, Owen Pescitelli; her nephews, Brent Mykietowich, Cory Mykietowich and Benjamin Dorge (Jamie).
