KEVIN GORDON McPHERSON Gods finger touched him, and he slept. The McPherson family sadly announces the passing of Kevin Gordon McPherson, aged 38, beloved father of Shawn and Meghan. Kevin died on Saturday, November 16, 2002 after a long, painful and relentless battle with Crohns Disease. Surviving Kevin are his children, Shawn and Meghan, in Calgary; nine brothers and sisters: Donna, Darlene (Harry), Gail (Dave), Brenda, Emily, Ron (Lori), Valerie, Don (Linda), and Jeff; numerous nieces and nephews; and Leann, mother of Shawn and Meghan. Kevin was predeceased by our parents, Donald and Laura McPherson. Kevin grew up in Winnipeg but moved to Calgary as a young man. He was a friendly, outgoing person who enjoyed his job with Canada Post until illness forced him to stop working four years ago. He was a devoted father to Shawn and Meghan and his love for them kept him going throughout his illness. A service in Kevins memory will be held in Calgary on Saturday, November 23. Flowers are gratefully declined.
