LILY GUSPODARCHUK (nee TERNOWETSKY) Peacefully on Friday, November 22, 2002 at Middlechurch Home, Lily Guspodarchuk passed away at the age of 90 years with her family by her side. Lily will be lovingly remembered by her children, Yvonne (Allan) Trupp, Marven, Nestor (Kerry), and Iris (Jack) Bell; son-in-law Charlie Peckover; grandchildren, Gregory Peckover, Allison (Patrick) Cummins, Bradford (Barbara) Trupp, Michael Trupp, Dayna (Michael) Barclay, David Guspodarchuk, Cheryl (Jason) Jackson, Kevin (Donna) Guspodarchuk, Janice Guspodarchuk, Richard Guspodarchuk, Jason (Allyson) Bell and Justin (Candace) Bell; 17 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Lily is also survived by sisters, Carrie Fernets and Geraldine (Vance) Caskey, and two special friends, Irene Copland and Sophie Borys. She was predeceased by her husband Michael, daughter Gerri Peckover, parents, George and Natalia; brothers, Willy and John; and sister Olga. Lily was born in Buchanan, SK and moved to Winnipeg in 1959. She spent her career in retail sales, enjoying her time the most at K-Mart, where she made very close friends over the years. Most precious to Lily was time spent with her family. Special thank you to Middlechurch Home for their excellent care and kindness over the past few years. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 26 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main St. Interment will take place in Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. A gathering of family and friends will follow in the Glen Eden Reception Centre. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of choice.
