NICK ONYSHKO For our dearest father Nick Onyshko, may he finally rest in peace, our father who was ill for many years now passed away quietly on November 18, 2002 in his home on his own time. Nick was always a cheerful man, gave all he could back to anyone who he knew, especially the ones closest to him. He will be very sadly missed by his son Darren and wife Tracy; two grandchildren, Nicole Lily and Jordan; and his eldest son Sean who will sadly miss him. Our father was able to have the greatest gift of all human beings can have, to see his grandchildren, Nicole and Jordan born, who he adored greatly. This was the greatest gift he could ever receive he said to me, with that Dad I love you dearly and I will always remember you in my heart, you gave me strength to carry on, for you Dad were my creator and mentor and the greatest father a son could have. Nick Onyshko has left us and the world with much to remember. He was a great father and husband, he was a man who never gave up. He left a legacy which most people would be envious of. He was proud of all his accomplishments in life especially his family. Nick was also one of the pioneers of the furniture business in Winnipeg. With his struggles through his illness, they made him stronger and gave him the will to carry on and overcome anything that came his way. He left his sons with great tools to work with, respect for another person, always give your best and never settle for second best. Our father was born with great tools, he used those tools throughout his life and passed them on to all who knew him. Our father lead us through memorable moments and challenging obstacles throughout our childhood and teenage years, for that Dad we thank you. You made us strong with the will to carry on, you have inspired us to carry on just as you always did. May God be with you now and forever. May you now be with your mother and father, may you now rest down in peace, may you rest your weary eyes, but not stop in defeat but leave us with the challenges you left behind for us to carry on, we love you dearly. My father loved everybody dearly no matter who you were, especially the closest person in his life, Connie, who he never stopped loving to the day he died. I know now what it means when someone says your other half, no matter where they are, will always be a part of you and I know Connie will always be a part of Nick. There will be no funeral arrangements for Nick Onyshko. As his wishes Nick will be cremated and his ashes will be placed with his parents grave at Elmwood Cemetery. Donations to the Cancer Society on behalf of Nick Onyshko will be greatly appreciated. Carry on Dad Love Darren and Sean
