Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLOUISE CAMPBELL Peacefully, Louise passed away on November 22, 2002, at the Grace Hospital, at the age of 79 years. Louise was born and raised in the Teulon area, and was the oldest daughter of George and Pearl Coverdale. As a young adult, Louise worked as a cook at the Hunter Memorial Hospital in Teulon, until marrying her husband Elvin Campbell. Elvin, Louise and their son Wayne lived on a mixed farm at Gunton, and worked side by side for many years. Louise was particularly known for her beautiful gardens, and the many hearty meals she prepared for her family and friends. She was also a talented craftsperson and made many beautiful items which she enjoyed giving as gifts to her extended family and donating to many charities. Louise was also a special aunty to her many nieces and nephews. Louise was also a devoted member of the United Church for many years and enjoyed the fellowship of many people in her congregation. Louise was predeceased by her husband Elvin; her parents, George and Pearl Coverdale; her brother Earle Coverdale; and most recently by her sister May Larson. She is survived by her son Wayne Campbell; her brothers, Allan (Betty) Coverdale, Elmer Coverdale and Harold (Nora) Coverdale; sister-in-law Mary Coverdale; and many nieces and nephews and their families. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 26 at 2:00 p.m. at the Teulon United Church. Rev. Ken Anstie will officiate. Interment to follow at Windsor Cemetery. Lunch will be thereafter at the Teulon Hall. Pallbearers will be David Campbell, Art Campbell, Don Larson, Doug Coverdale, Alex Jack, and Brian Larson. In lieu of flowers, as per Louises wishes, donations may be made to the Teulon Christmas Cheer Board. MacKenzie Funeral Home, Teulon in care of arrangements.
