ALINE GABRIELLE WOODS (nee CHARRON) Peacefully, at her residence with family by her side, Aline passed away November 22, 2002 at the age of 86. Born in Riviere-du-Loup, QC, Aline had lived in the Stonewall area since 1950. Aline was predeceased by her husband Reg in 1982; infant baby in 1958; and sister Grace in 1972; as well as her parents. Surviving to mourn her loss are her children, Philip and wife Sandra of Dryden, ON, Lousie and husband Bill of Kelowna, BC, Gerald and wife Lynda of Winnipeg, Sharon and husband Tom of Winnipeg, and Denis and wife Brenda of Stonewall, MB; 13 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; two brothers, Lou (Leah) of South Burnaby, BC and Gibby (Lois) of Snow Lake, MB; sister Teresa of Red Deer, AB; numerous nieces and nephews. Alines greatest joy was her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She loved to travel to the various provinces that her children chose to live in and spend time with them. Following cremation, a memorial service will be held Tuesday, November 26 at 2:00 p.m. in the MacKenzie Funeral Chapel, Stonewall. Service to conclude at the chapel. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, memorial donations may be made to Rosewood Lodge Personal Care Home, Southwest District Palliative Care Inc. or The Church of the Ascension Building Fund. The family would like to thank the entire staff at Rosewood Lodge who have treated Mom with care and compassion the past five years and helped make her passing so peaceful.
