Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryHELEN MAE BALL (nee SCHWAB) December 14, 1933 After a lengthy and courageous battle with cancer, Helen went to be with the Lord on November 23, 2002. Helen was a loving and caring mother, and as a single parent, sacrificed much to provide for her eight children. She was always there to listen and encourage them in everything they did and dream they had. Helens determination and strength were rivalled only by her outstanding singing voice. As a girl and young woman, she would sing in the church choir, and her dream always, was to sing professionally. Her greatest pastime was listening to opera music, attending performances and spending time with her family. Helen was predeceased by her parents, Henry and Amelie Schwab; daughters, Cynthia, Heather and Penny Lee; son Barry Michael; grand-daughter Rebecca, and grandson Barry. She will be greatly missed by daughter Bonnae (Zale) Jasenn and their children, Nathan and Tiffany; son Terry Boggs; son Kelly (Anna) Boggs and their children, Amber, Krystina, Ryan, Mikaila, and Alysa; daughter Wendy Squier and her children, Rachel (Brent) Beauchamp, Stephen, Justin and Matthew; and son Danny (Sylvia) Boggs and their child Holly. She will also be missed by her four great-grandchildren, Christopher, Kaylin, Zachery and Donavon. The family would like to express our special thanks to the staff at Kildonan Personal Care Home for the loving care of our mother. God bless you. A celebration of Helens life will be held on Wednesday, November 27 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main St. Interment will take place in Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. A gathering of family and friends will follow in the Glen Eden Reception Centre. We are all grateful to have loved her and learned from her example. Peace is finally hers.
