Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARY MALCHESKI (nee JUSKOW) After a brief illness, Mary Malcheski passed away at the Concordia Hospital on Monday, November 25, 2002. Mary was born in Winnipeg on July 28, 1920. In 1943 she married Walter and shortly thereafter moved to Oakland, CA. Within a few years they returned to Winnipeg taking over the operation of Juskow Insurance Agency Ltd. for many years until their retirement. Mary was predeceased by her husband Walter; parents, Katherine and Andrew; a sister Emily; a cousin; a sister-in-law; and numerous brothers-in-law. She leaves to mourn her passing sisters-in-law, Ollie Fraser, Toronto, ON, Jessie Malcheski and Jean Slobodian of Winnipeg; cousin Anne (Jack) Logan of Pierrefonds, QC; nieces and nephews and their families, Janice (Roger) Overby, Susan Menzyk, St. Petersburg, FL, James Menzies, Largo, FL, Donald Menzyk, Floral City, FL, Wendy Weszner, Woodstock, ON, Jo-Ann (Fred) Pedruchny, Lac Du Bonnet, MB, Karen (Terry) Imhoff, Christine (Joe) McNulty and Linda (George) Hayes, all of Winnipeg. The family would like to express their sincere thanks to the medical and health care staff of the 2nd floor of the Concordia Hospital for their compassionate care. We also wish to acknowledge Marys wonderful neighbours and friends for their visits and acts of kindness which always added a measure of brightness to her day. As well, a very special thank you to Christine Janzen and Monica and Lloyd Woods for their loyal commitment and unwavering attention to our Aunt Mary during this difficult time. Funeral service will be held in the chapel of Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main St., on Saturday, November 30 at 10:00 a.m., with viewing at 9:30 a.m., with Fr. Terry McGrath officiating. Interment to follow at Holy Ghost Cemetery. A gathering of family and friends will follow in the Glen Eden Reception Centre. Pallbearers will be Terry and Karen Imhoff, Joe McNulty, Gary Kochanski, Ron Shasta and Lloyd Woods. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make donations to the Canadian National Institute for the Blind, 1080 Portage Ave. or the Canadian Cancer Society of Manitoba, 193 Sherbrook Ave., Winnipeg, MB.
