BILLIE PAUL Passed away peacefully Sunday, November 24, 2002, surrounded by her family. She was predeceased by parents, Harry and Rose; sisters, Betty, Sarah, Blooma; brothers, Charlie, Sam and Nate. Mourning her loss are husband of 65 years, Albert; children, Dr. Gerald Paul and wife Judy of Los Angeles, Francis Steinberg of Calgary and Cary Paul of Winnipeg; grandchildren, Marnie Steinberg, Alan and Jamey Paul, Johnathon, Zachary, Stephanie and Benjamin; sister Lila Sinder; and brother Allan Hoffman. Billie devoted her life to her family and friends. She was active in Bnai Brith, ORT as well as many charities and loved a good bridge game. She left us with many wonderful gifts and this legacy will be with us always. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 26, 11:45 a.m. at Chesed Shel Emes Chapel, 1023 Main St., with burial to follow at Shaarey Zedek Cemetery. The family would like to thank the nursing staff at Seven Oaks Hospital, Unit 7, 5th floor, especially Patrice and Christine for their compassion in her final days. In lieu of flowers, should friends or family desire, donations can be made to a charity of their choice.
