Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryEDITH PEITSCH (nee HASTMAN) After a lengthy illness, Edith Peitsch went to be with her Lord and Saviour on Saturday, November 23, 2002. Edith was born on September 6, 1915. She is survived by seven children, Roy of Beausejour, Norman (Gloria) of Kelowna, BC, Alfred of Winnipeg, Geraldine Cartmell (Bob) of Toronto, ON, Nelson (Lili) of Winnipeg, Janice of Winnipeg and Elaine Dowhan (Greg) of Windsor, ON; seven grandchildren, Sharleen, Bill and Patti of British Columbia, John of South Caroline, Lori of Toronto, Jeff and Lisa of Winnipeg. Also surviving are eight great-grandchildren. Edith was predeceased by her loving husband William in August 1996, one infant daughter in 1950, one grandchild in 1972 and one great-grandchild in 1995. Special thanks to Dr. Zeiler and all the wonderful caregivers at East Gate Lodge. Also many thanks to all the friends for their prayers and support, and the many volunteers who gave of their time to help Mom in her time of need. A service of remembrance will be held at Sobering Funeral Chapel, Park Ave. E., Beausejour, on Tuesday December 3 at 1:30 p.m. Viewing will be prior to the service. Pastor C. Dewey will be officiating. Interment will be in the St. Ouens Pentecostal Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations may be made in Ediths memory to the East Gate Lodge Personal Care Home, Box 1690, Beausejour, MB R0E 0C0.
