Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMITCHELL JOHN MICHAEL RYGIEL It is with sorrow that we announce the passing of Mitchell Rygiel on November 24, 2002, at the Health Sciences Centre. Mitchell was born in St. Boniface on October 1, 1935. Mitchell was predeceased by parents, Martin and Mary. He is survived by wife Adele; children Grant, Mitchell (Carmen), Sherry, Cindy (Phil), and Kent (Christine) and grandson Liam. He is also survived by siblings, George, Pauline, and Marion. Mitchell was an avid bowler whose greatest triumph was winning the heart of teammate Adele with whom he spent the next 42 years. Mitchell worked as a Carman at CN Rail for 43 years. He was constantly active: working around the house, cottage, and garage. Mitchell was generous with his time and always willing to assist friends and family. In retirement, Mitchell enjoyed many car and train excursions across North America. A recent trip to Cuba with Adele was the highlight of his travels. He will be lovingly missed by family and friends. Visitation will be held from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Thursday, November 28, at Bardal Funeral Home, 843 Sherbrook St. Funeral service 1:00 p.m., Friday, November 29, also at Bardal Funeral Home, with a reception to follow.
