ELIZABETH DYCK Elizabeth Dyck, nee Braun, went to be with her Lord and Saviour on the morning of November 26, 2002 at the age of 95 years. She was predeceased by her husband John in August, 1995. She was also predeceased by son-in-law Nick Penner in 1982 and brother Jake Braun. She is survived by one daughter, Jane Penner; sons, Henry and wife Betty, Victor and wife Alvena, Carl and wife Lil; also 13 grand-children and 21 great-grandchildren. Elizabeth was born in Russia and came to Canada in 1924. She spent most of her married life at Starbuck and later Winnipeg. Funeral service will be held on Friday, November 29 at 10:30 a.m. at Springfield Heights Mennonite Church, 570 Sharron Bay at DeFehr Street. Interment in Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. Viewing Thursday, November 28, 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Klassen Funeral Chapel, 1897 Henderson Hwy. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Food Grains Bank.
