MARION HAFFNER (CORK)

MARION HAFFNER (nee CORK) Peacefully at the St. Boniface Hospital on November 25, 2002. Mom was born in Woodstock, ON, and lived most of her life in Winnipeg. She was predeceased by her sisters, Helen Ormond and Ann Cameron. Surviving are Larry and Johanne Haffner of Ottawa; Alan and Lesley Haffner; and Mary Beth and Dale Shields. She leaves seven grandchildren, Stephanie (Einar), John, Paula, Rebecca (Lionel), Nicole (Dan), Jeremy, Megan; and five great-grandchildren, Connor, Logan, Tessa, Abbey and Avery. Moms family meant the world to her, and her love for us was evident to the end. Cremation and a family service have taken place in keeping with her wishes. With thanks to Dr. M. Cameron, St. Boniface A6 staff and all our friends and family for their kindnesses.
