Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDAVID NOVAK David Novak, of Gladstone, MB, passed away at the Riverview Health Centre, on Monday, November 25, 2002, at the age of 51 years. David was born in Theodore, SK, on June 15, 1951. He began his education in Saskatchewan. The family moved to Manitoba, where he attended elementary school at Golden Stream and high school at Gladstone. He began working in Winnipeg at Uniroyal Tire, then at Major Appliances for a number of years. David also worked for Athletes Wear in the shipping and receiving department. It became more difficult for David, because of Muscular Dystrophy, so he took a computer programming course and began volunteer work at the Human Resources Centre. David was predeceased by his father John, in 1968, his mother Mary, in 2002, sister-in-law Rose, in 1990, and brother-in-law Tom, in 2002. He is survived by sisters, Elaine, Sylvia, Virginia and Shirley; twin brother Daniel and brothers, Adam and Willie. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts and cousins. The family would like to thank the nursing staff and careworkers at Riverview Health Centre for their excellent care, while David was a resident. Funeral service will be held Friday, November 29 at 2:00 p.m. at Clarkes Funeral Chapel, Gladstone with Rev. George Cargo officiating. Interment will follow at Gladstone Cemetery. If friends so desire, memorial donations may be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association of Canada, 1 Morley Ave., Winnipeg, MB, R3L 2P4
