CAROL SHEWCHUK It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother and grandmother Carol Shewchuk, on Wednesday November 27, 2002. Mourning her passing and treasuring her memory is her loving husband of 46 years Mike; daughter Lisa and her husband Marshall; daughter-in-law Elise; and her beloved grandchildren, Michael, Melissa, Emilie and Marc. She is also survived by her brothers, Mike (Joyce), Fred (Ollie) and sister Jean and their families. Carol was predeceased by her parents; sister Anne; brothers, Pete, Nick; and her son Larry. Carol was born in Elma, MB in 1936. She married her husband Mike in 1956 and they settled in Brooklands where they raised their family. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend. She taught her family the meaning of unconditional, selfless love and she was completely devoted to her family and their well-being. Her greatest joy in life was her family, especially her children and grand-children and she loved spending time with them. She enjoyed working in her flower garden and tending to her beautiful rose bushes. She and Mike enjoyed their many fishing trips to English Brook and she always came home with stories of all the wildlife they saw and fish they caught. A service of remembrance will be held on Saturday, November 30 at 2:00 p.m. in P. Coutu Funeral Chapel, 156 Marion St. In lieu of flowers donations in Carols memory may be made to the Canadian Liver Foundation, P.O. Box 1943, Winnipeg, MB R3C 3C2. Love for a mother lasts forever and we will always love and miss you. Rest in peace Mom. P. COUTU & CO. FUNERAL DIRECTORS 156 Marion Street949-4864
