Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDOROTHY (DORA) ELIZABETH CHARTRAND On Wednesday, November 27, 2002, at the Portage District Hospital, Dorothy (Dora) Elizabeth Chartrand of Portage la Prairie, formerly of Poplar Point, MB, widow of the late George (Buster) Chartrand passed away at the age of 83 years. Funeral service will be held in the Chapel of the Omega Funeral Home on Monday, December 2, at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in St. Annes Cemetery. Predeceased by her husband George, one son Bill, one daughter Diane Slusar; and two brothers, George Gobelle and Ron Gobelle. She leaves to mourn her passing her son Greg (La Verne) of Edmonton; four grandchildren, Nadine (Paul) Rimmer, Lance (Shauna) Chartrand, Chalsee (Paul) Levreault, Michelle Chartrand and several great-grandchildren. Also surviving are five sisters, and many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the funeral home for visitation Sunday December 1, from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. Should friends so desire memorial donations may be made to the Central Plains Cancer Care Services, 318 Saskatchewan Ave. E., Portage la Prairie, MB R1N 0K8.
