ROBERT JOHN (BOB) HANSON It is with deepest sadness that we announce the passing of Robert John (Bob) Hanson, after a brief struggle with cancer on Tuesday, November 26, 2002 at the age of 55 years. He leaves to mourn his mother Linda Hanson and only sister Janet Nylen; niece Tracy Nylen; nephew James (Pennie) Nylen; great-nieces, Jaime and Trinity of Erickson, and a very special group of friends. He was predeceased by his father John (Jack) Thomas Hanson in 1986. Bob was raised in Brandon, where he attended Harrison High School and Brandon University. He then went on to the University of Manitoba and studied architecture, which was a great interest for him. He spent most of his working life dedicated to this field and his enthusiasm and ideals impressed almost everyone who knew him. His mark has been left in a number of homes, gardens and buildings in and out of the city. In compliance with Bobs wishes, no formal funeral service will be held. A special thank you is extended to the Palliative Care Department and personnel for all their help, which allowed him to remain in his much loved home until his passing. Our family would also like to express our appreciation to his many friends who have been so supportive. As an expression of sympathy, if friends so desire, donations in Bobs memory may be made to CancerCare Manitoba, 675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9; Palliative Care, Riverview Health Centre, 1 Morley Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3L 2P4 or to charity of ones choice. Although he wasnt with us for a long time, Bobs memory will be dearly held by most people who knew him. WOJCIKS ALL BELIEFS & FAITHS FUNERAL CHAPEL & CREMATORIUM 897-4665
