Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryROBERT HENDERSON 1909 - 2002 We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of our husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, Bob Henderson on November 28, 2002. Mourning his passing is his wife Theresa of 62 years, sons, George (Marlies), Bob (Elaine), Bill (Dawn), Doug (Brenda) and Don; ten grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He is also survived by brothers and sisters, Archie, George, Isabell and Sadie. Bob spent his early years working in bush camps, later starting work with the Manitoba Power Commission, now known as Manitoba Hydro. After 45 years of service, he retired in 1974. With great enthusiasm he then dedicated himself to golfing and curling. He spent many hours at the Selkirk Golf Course in the summer and an equal amount of time during the winter at the Selkirk Curling Club. The family thanks the staff at Red River Place for all their care and compassion during the last seven years. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 7 at 10:30 a.m. at the Selkirk United Church, 202 McLean Ave. with Rev. barb janes officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimers Society. Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk in care of arrangements.
