ALBERT BERNARD (ABBY) ODONNELL April 1907 - November 2002 Peacefully at home, with his love of 60 years, Gertrude by his side, Albert ODonnell passed away. Left to mourn is his wife Gertrude Amy; his daughters, Aloma (Gordon), Pat (Bob) his son Dennis (Cathy) his grandchildren, Brenna and Blake ODonnell, Phil and Dean Law, Karen (Gary) Beard, Judy (Ron) Best, Rick Krushel; great-grandchildren, Tyler and Andrew. His is also survived by numerous other relatives and dear friends. Predeceased by his daughter Doreen ODonnell in 1985 and his grandson Robert Krushel in 1972. He was born in April 1907 and grew up in Killarney, MB. A longtime employee of Grey Goose Bus Lines, he retired in 1972. He also enjoyed many years of hunting and he was fondly known as "Abby ODonnell, the mighty hunter of the Pembina Hills." At the end his body was frail but his mind never faltered. He always enjoyed visiting with family and friends. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held Tuesday, December 3 at 3:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. A reception to follow.
