Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryAMOS ALEXANDER (ALEX) MACMILLAN On Thursday, November 28, 2002, Mr. Amos Alexander (Alex) MacMillan passed away peacefully in the St. Boniface General Hospital at the age of 61 years. Alex will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his mother Evelyn MacMillan of Chesterville, ON, sisters, June Jillabough (Lloyd) of Morewood, ON, Rae Kuno of Chesterville, and Theresa Cutler (Lloyd) of Brockville, ON; and by a very dear brother-in-law Orest Shindruk of Winnipeg; also many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Alex was predeceased by his wife Leona (nee Shindruk) in 1995. He served 25 years with the Canadian Armed Forces and 18 years with the Core Commissionaires of Winnipeg. During Alexs life he had a great passion for cats, which he even took on flights with him back home to Ontario. Prayers will be recited on Tuesday, December 3 at 7:30 p.m. at Thomson Funeral Chapels, 669 Broadway. Prayers will also be recited on Wednesday, December 4 at 7:30 p.m. at St. Nicholas Orthodox Church in Sandy Lake, MB. Funeral mass will be held on Thursday, December 5 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Nicholas Orthodox Church, Sandy Lake with Fr. Bob Kennaugh officiating. Interment will follow in Sandy Lake Cemetery. Donations in memory of Alex may be made to a charity of ones choice. Pallbearers will be Sherry Shindruk, Laura Shindruk, Sadley Shindruk, Dennis Yanchycki, Rick Yanchycki and Don Henry.
